Brent E. Murchie, MD specializes in Gastroenterology & Hepatology. He maintains an active board certification in Internal Medicine, and is currently board-eligible for his Gastroenterology certification. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida, in Weston FL. During his training, he served as both Chief Resident and Chief Fellow.

Dr. Murchie focuses on providing world class care and patient communication, to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction. While at Cleveland Clinic Florida, his area of interest included diseases of the small bowel. He pursued formal training with double balloon enteroscopy (DBE), to allow diagnostic evaluation and treatment of numerous small bowel disorders. He also has an interest in diagnosis and management of Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

Dr. Murchie has been recognized at numerous national meetings and has authored peer-reviewed research publications for colorectal cancer prevention.
