Dr. Kuperman has practiced Gastroenterology in Sarasota since 1988. He attended the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, North Carolina for his undergraduate studies. He graduated from Ohio State University, School of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio.His Internship, Residency and Fellowship training was done at the University of Florida, Shands Hospital, College of Medicine in Gainesville , Florida. He was an instructor in Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Gainesville after his post graduate training.

Dr. Kuperman is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a diplomate of the subspecialty Board of Gastroenterology. His practice is limited to disorders of the digestive system. He performs all Gastroenterologic endoscopy procedures. In addition, he performs Barrx procedure for Barrett's Esophagus, as well as PDT (Photo Dynamic Therapy), for Barrett's Esophagus and Esophageal Cancer.
